3、parent materil soil of sand quality, and a special ecosystemdistributed by herbs, shrubs and woodland. The terrain has a significant difference onleeward slope and windward slope and makes the sand vegetation have super

4、zonalcommunity nature. Through field investigation we analyzed the vegetation distribution andsoil nutrient of different site conditions, and to reveal elm woodland on the dunes tinyterrain adaptation mechanism and forma

5、tion of a special mechanism. Providing scientificbasis for the protection, management and utilization of Hunshandake Sandy elm woodland.The main results show:(1) Effect of tiny terrain of herbaceous characteristics: The

6、slope aspect has significantcorrelation with quantitative characteristic and diversity index of herb, and the quantitativecharacteristic and diversity index of leeward herb are bigger than windward. The duneheight has no

7、 significant influence on quantitative characteristic and diversity index, andthe biomass, coverage, evenness of herbs are little dune>mid dune>big dune and the height,diversity index are big dune>mid dune>li

8、ttle dune. The slope position has a certain impacton quantitative characteristic, but no obvious on diversity index. The biomass, coverageand diversity of herbs on windward are downhill>midhill>uphill, the biomass

9、of herbs onwindward are downhill>midhill>uphill, the height is uphill>downhill>midhill, thecoverage is midhill and downhill>uphill.(2) Effect of tiny terrain on distribution characteristic of trees and shr

10、ubs: The slopeaspect has significant correlation with quantitative characteristic and diversity index oftrees and shrubs. With the increase of the dune height, the number of shrubs increase firstthen decrease.(3) Effect

11、of tiny terrain on soil distribution characteristic: The slope aspect, slopeposition and slope height have significant correlation on soil fertility. The soil nutrientcontent for different dune height is mid dune>big

12、dune>little dune, and the the soil surfacehas highest nutrient. The soil nutrient of downhill is higher than uphill on same soil depthin different slope position. The soil nutrient of surface is higher than the depth
