1、小說(shuō)《英國(guó)病人》細(xì)致入微地描寫了被殖民者的遭遇，具有典型的反帝和反殖民主義傾向。本文從后殖民主義的視角對(duì)被殖民者的主體性問(wèn)題進(jìn)行探索:被殖民者的主體性喪失的原因、結(jié)果以及被殖民者的自我主體性復(fù)歸的途徑。殖民者一方面借用殖民教育、科學(xué)探索和篡改歷史等認(rèn)知暴力手段來(lái)扭曲事實(shí)，從而使被殖民者自愿地為其服務(wù)。另一方面又通過(guò)殘酷的殖民統(tǒng)治摧殘被殖民者的身心，造成其心理恐懼。外因和內(nèi)因結(jié)合勢(shì)必導(dǎo)致被殖民者的主體性喪失，其表現(xiàn)為認(rèn)知的模糊、言語(yǔ)的缺失
